A system dynamic model of demand-supply-price is proposed to analyze the operation and response mechanisms of the shipping market. Through simulating five different chartering decisions of shippers, the paper finally finds the best object of chartering ships for the cargo owners. Results show that the SD model is suitable for long-term forecast of LPG charter market development trend ，which provides a new idea for research of LPG charter decision-making model.
