The water lubrication rubber bearing was made by using NBR as matrix, and water as a lubricating medium. The effects of different factors on rubber bearings hardness and friction and wear properties were studied. Results show that as the amount of carbon black and molybdenum disulfide gradually increasesing as well, the hardness of the rubber bearing is increasing. The amount of carbon black and molybdenum disulfide significantly affect the wear loss and coefficient of friction of the rubber bearing, when the carbon black is 70 phr, and molybdenum disulfide is 10 phr, the rubber berings have the smallest wear loss and friction coefficient. The friction and wear mechanism are also analyzed.
