Evaluation system of LNG liquid cargo operations simulator training

Abstract

In order to improve the training level of the crew for liquefied natural gas( LNG) ships, the valuation system of LNG liquid cargo operations simulator training is developed by using Visual Basic. The system includes the simulation operation and training evaluation of the following thirteen parts: unloading, loading, insulation space inerting, cargo tank (CT) drying, CT inerting, CT gassing up, CT coolingdown, ballast voyage, laden voyage, stripping, CT warmup as well as CT aeration. The evaluation models of loading and unloading are based on fuzzy comprehensive assessment and analytic hierarchy process, and the model of the residual parts are built by using simple linearized model. The system contains 33 forms, and the communication between the simulation part and the training evaluation part can be established by Access database. Evaluation result is presented by diagrams which can be sorted by name and score. Tests show that the evaluation system of LNG liquid cargo operations simulator training can give the proper evaluation, which is satisfactory.
