Optimized model of configuration volume of LNG tank container in land-sea combined transport

Abstract

Based on the objective of maximizing the enterprise profit, this paper established optimized model of configuration volume of LNG tank container in land-sea combined transport. For the LNG not being long time stored in tank container and the high cost and the rent for container tank container, a punishing function and the decision-making factor were introduced to further optimize the operational efficiency of the tank container and meet the needs of different decision makers with different preferences. At the same time, the tank container security storage and transportation time were considered in the constraint conditions based on the safety of LNG storage and transportation. Finally, with the aid of the LINGO optimization software, this paper verifies the model with an example, and results show that the proposed model can be used in tank container configuration optimization of LNG land-sea combined transport in practice.
