Causation chain of ship collision accident due to human error based on data mining technology

  • Methods are presented to effectively analysis accident mechanism of ship collisions. An accident causation chain is structured based on Bayesian Network and Association Rule Technology which is extensively used in the field of data mining. Accident Network is built after analyzing 128 ship collision accidents due to human error. Apriori algorithm and Java program are employed to identify frequent occurrence human error, and accident causation chain is formed.
