In order to facilitate the decision-making of Arctic navigation operation, based on considering the meteorological conditions in the ice area, an optimization model of Arctic ship speed under the influence of different ice conditions was established to ensure the safety of ships and reduce the cost of ships. Since the ice area navigation has strict time window constraints, a discrete time element method was used to establish a directed acyclic graph, and to be solved by shortest path algorithm, which greatly improved the accuracy of the model. By changing the ice density, the optimal speed to minimize the total cost of voyage was obtained under different ice conditions, and solved the problem of navigation economy selection in the ice area, which can further provide decision support for ship operation in the Arctic route.
