Research progress and future trend of electronic chart navigation system

This paper summarized the standardization process and application status of electronic chart navigation system, analyzes the evolution of electronic chart navigation system from the dimensions of multidimensional, integration, openness, service and mobility, and introduces relevant key technologies such as multidimensional electronic chart, Internet of Ship, S-100 standard, e-navigation, intelligent service and mobile navigation APP. Under the development trend of intelligent ship, the prospect of the combination of environmental perception, augmented reality, VDES and autopilot with electronic chart navigation system was analyzed.
