In order to reduce electrolytic power consumption of ship-board united pollution prevention system, this paper analyzed the influences of electrolytic current and cathode electrolyte temperatures on electrolytic power consumption by experiment test. Results show that the electrolytic cell voltage increases with current density increasing, but decreases with cathode electrolyte temperatures increasing. When catholyte temperature is up to 60℃, the concentration of NaOH which generated by electrolysis reaches the maximum value, meanwhile, the highest current efficiency and the minimum power consumption can be obtained during the electrolytic process.
