Abstract

The laminar combustion characteristics of acetone-n-butanol-ethanol in different components at 393 K, 0.1 MPa, equivalence ratios of 0.8, 1.1 and 1.3 were studied by propagating spherical flame test and the one-dimensional planar flame numerical simulation. The result shows that when the content ratios of ABE component are 0.8:9:0.2 and 0.2:9:0.8, the component content has no significant effect on the laminar burning velocities of ABE mixtures. When the content ratios of ABE component are 1:5:4 and 4:5:1, The laminar burning velocity of ABE mixture increases with the increase of the ethanol content. The component content has a small effect on the Markstein length, but the equivalence ratio has a greater effect on it. The reaction pathway analysis shows that the substances produced by consumption of acetone, n-butanol and ethanol with different content of ABE components has no obvious changes, but the consumption changes slightly. The free radical analysis shows that the maximum mole fractions of H, O and OH in ABE flame have no obvious change with the change of component content, but the maximum mole fractions of CH3 and HO2 have more significant change, and the change of component content have obvious influence on the maximum production rates of H and OH.

The premixed laminar combustion characteristics of acetone-n-butanol-ethanol (ABE) premixed fuel with different components at 393 K, 0.1 MPa and equivalence ratio of 0.8, 1.1 and 1.3 were studied by propagating spherical flame test and one-dimensional planar flame numerical simulation, and the chemical kinetics analysis was conducted. The result shows that when the content ratios of ABE component are 0.8∶9∶0.2 and 0.2∶9∶0.8, the component content has no significant effect on the laminar burning velocities of ABE mixtures.
